10th Annual Cholla Bay Sportsmen’s Club Golf Tournament
This annual golf tournament is a fun and casual event to help raise money for local charities. This tournament takes place in early February, just before the heat rolls on through Rocky Point. Come spend a day out on the exciting golf courses and enjoy food and beverages while you help raise money for local charities. Participants will encourage fun and enjoy themselves with this exciting event. Although this year’s event is already gone, we hope to see you out here for next year’s annual tournament!
Ruta Del Globo 2018
Experience the fantastic balloon festival of Ruta Del Globo happening in Rocky Point from February 23-25, 2018. This all ages event is perfect for the whole family to attend. Balloons take off at 7:00am that Friday and Saturday, followed by a family picnic, live music from local bands, and a balloon and lights show before the night is closed out with additional live music. Come out and experience the joy of hot-air balloons with the whole family.
2018 Rocky Point Triathlon
Rocky Point is known for its Spring Break getaways for college students, but it also hosts one of the area’s biggest triathlons, with the Rocky Point Triathlon taking place on May 5, 2018. This event is perfect for professional runners and beginners alike. You can take part in several events such as the main event, 5k, 10k, sprints, international races, and beginner races. Tickets will increase in price at the end of February, so make sure to reserve your spot now.
Come experience the Phoenix Hobie Fleet 66, a group of catamaran sailors who put on the Hobie Regattas on May 5-6, 2018. This event features exciting sailboat races, raffle prize drawings, and a decadent dinner held on Saturday night. You and your family can meet sailors and other boating professionals to find out how you can get into the sport or simply enjoy the races. The event is free to attend, with money raised through the raffle drawings that attendees are encouraged to participate in.
