The brainchild of a local Arizona band, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, in its early days it was known more as a kegger as the band played on the rooftop of Sunset Cantina. That first concert in 1999 was a success, and as the decades have passed, it has grown into one of the top events in Rocky Point and a major music festival, stretching out over four days and showcasing dozens of artists.
