In town, you can walk along the boardwalk and see El Malecon, an old-fashioned fish market that is home to artisans and vendors. Delicious street food carts and restaurants like Sr. Amigo Restaurant Bar and La Casa Del Capitan provide a taste of the flavorful local cuisine, while bars like Chango’s Bar and Bar Guau Guau provide a laid-back atmosphere for tropical cocktails. Kick off your nights on the town by dancing at clubs like Skullyz Cantina, Elixir, and the Pink Cadillac.
Beyond town, yet still close enough to our Rocky Point rentals to be convenient, there are several places where visitors can go to experience the local natural environment at its finest (besides the ocean, of course). El Pinacate Biosphere Reserve is home to otherworldly volcanic mountain ranges where NASA once sent its astronauts to train for their moonlanding expeditions, as well as a diverse range of animal and plant species. Each property is different, so be sure to read the listing numbers, but our largest 4-bedroom escapes have the space for up to 14 guests to share the property.
Are there any restaurants in Rocky Point that can handle large groups of people?
There are many restaurants in Rocky Point that offer space for a large group, but one of our favorites is relatively new to the area–Ole Mole Penasco. Located at 36 Juan de la Berrera, just south of Sonora, Av. Juan de la Barrera 36, Centro, and offering a menu filled with traditional Mexican favorites, this restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day.
We’re visiting in the winter months. Do any of your properties offer fireplaces?
