Now, our idea of what a winter wonderland consists of may be different than most, as we prefer sunny skies, blue waters, and sandy beaches to meadows blanketed with snow. We’ve also rather recently realized you can build a Christmas tree from sand, plopping a colorful star on its top and wrapping it in the garland you tucked away in your carryon. As a matter of fact, if you have the time and patience, you can construct an entire Christmas vignette in these sands, something you can enjoy from rooftop decks, balconies that peer over the sea, or patios that end where the sand begins.
