It is time to step inside and explore the space you chose, and your vacation fun begins with the turn of the doorknob. Light streams in all the windows, keeping the spaces looking bright and welcoming and as you walk along tile floors, (feel how cool and smooth they feel beneath your feet?) you may find yourself staring everywhere at once, unable to decide which space you should explore first. We will start this tour, however, with the living room spaces, rooms that will reflect the beauty of the old country in many ways. Look up and you may notice a whitewashed brick coved ceiling, we call those boveda ceilings, which translates to vault and is a part of the traditional Mexican architecture. Comfy sofas, modern televisions, even the occasional beehive fireplace can be found in these rooms, adding warmth and romance to your vacation experience.
Open Concept Floor Plans Are Popular in Rocky Point
Although some homes may offer more traditional homes with segregated rooms, each offering four walls, a door, and a very clear purpose, open concept floor plans are quickly rising in popularity, and chances are the one you choose will have that type of floor plan. The kitchens may offer their own reflection of Mexican tradition, including another boveda ceiling, but adding brightly colored handmade tiles to the equation. As we age, there are many things we do so much better and one thing that we seem to do worse, and that one thing, sleep, can affect your quality of life.
