You notice that we mention views a lot, and that is because a large number of our spaces are waterfront ones—and even if your chosen rental isn’t on the waterfront, it will be close enough to the water that you are never far from its serenity and peace! Romance somehow blooms brighter in the spring, and whether your spring getaway is a honeymoon adventure or you just need to enjoy some sun, sand, and surf with your partner, you will probably be looking at our 1- or 2-bedroom escapes. Community Pool & Hot Tub
Spring temperatures in Rocky Point, Mexico may surprise you, even if your vacation is planned for the early months of the season. March, while remaining chilly at night, can reach temperatures in the mid-70s, and although for us that feels a little too cool to swim, it can feel positively balmy to visitors from colder climes, ensuring that the resort pool will be well utilized. At night, temperatures can drop into the mid-50s, making the hot tub equally popular.
Community Fitness Center
You know they always say that couples who work out together, stay together, and the community fitness center in many of our resort communities will allow you to do so while vacationing. Not all communities will offer this amenity, so be sure to read the listing if it is important to you.
Barbecue Areas
Is there anything better than the taste of your catch of the day grilled fresh off the boat? We don’t think so, and even though you won’t have a private grill on your balcony, many communities will offer a grilling area complete with picnic tables, and some may even offer fish cleaning stations, so you won’t have to clean them in your rental.
Sports Courts
The type of sports courts will vary from resort to resort, with some offering basketball or tennis courts and others offering sand volleyball courts. Our family homes can range in size between charming 3-bedroom ones that are perfect for your average-sized family all the way up to 6-bedroom estates offering room enough for up to 16 people (depending on the property you choose). The beach lifestyle will keep everyone in a good mood, no matter how large the crowd! Our families are our hearts, and we always want to ensure their safety. Our gated communities offering 24/7 security help to do just that. Rocky Point is a safe place, but there can never be anything wrong with taking extra efforts to ensure that your Spring Break will be filled with only happy memories of exciting adventures, and so, even as the property you have rented is a standalone home, you will sleep even sounder at night, knowing your family is safe and sound.
Beach Views
Travelers are often surprised to learn that many of our homes offer beach views, often thinking that only condos and million-dollar mansions offer that amenity. Many of our largest homes sit in beachfront locations, leading to a Rocky Point vacation that you never have to worry about doing your hair or putting on shoes as you step off the back porch and have your toes buried in the sand within a few steps.
Pet Friendly
We believe that our family homes should be friendly to the entire family, and many will be pet friendly for an additional fee. Your fur children deserve a beach vacation as much as you do, and our family vacation homes are designed to make them feel included and at ease. Even better, the entire town is pet friendly, so your pet can play on the beaches, dine at many restaurants, and enjoy many of the same activities as you will.
Garages
The later in the season you arrive, the higher the temperatures will be, with temps reaching as high as 90 degrees by June. You won’t mind the warmth that much, as humidity will be low, making the air feel cooler, and you will probably be spending as much time in the private pools found in many of our family retreats as well as playing in the sea. But if you do decide to get in your car and drive down the coast, parking it in the garage will ensure that it will be cool and dry and ready for a cruise no matter what the temperatures say outside!
Pools, Hot Tubs, and Game Rooms
The resorts in the area offer a long list of luxury amenities, as you might expect, but did you know that many of our standalone homes also offer many of the same amenities? The difference being that you can choose to swim in your private pool or soak in your private hot tub at 3 AM without having to share either with strangers. And although there probably won’t be any sports courts, some of our luxury retreats will also offer fully equipped game rooms, providing hours of fun for the whole family!

We all have those friends that we love as much as family (and sometimes more!), and there are many reasons we choose to travel with them. Your gals’ getaway should be one in which you feel spoiled and pampered every second of your stay, and although there are day spas that you can go to, jacuzzi tubs in some of our escapes will allow you to enjoy that spa experience without having to step out of your home sweet vacation home. Larger properties will often offer an equal number of bathrooms to bedrooms, giving everyone their own private space while reducing morning traffic jams, and outdoor showers will help keep the sand where it belongs.
Wet Bars
You don’t always have to leave our FMI Rentals vacation retreats to enjoy an evening of alcohol, fun, and laughter; the wet bars in some of our spaces offer a great reason as to why!
